These are the perfect pliers to have lying around your shop when you need to bend nose screws, change barbell shafts, hold cbr beads, etc.. Any thing you would normally use a steel tool for, these will be a lot better as you won't have to worry about scratching the jewelry. Brass is softer then steel so you will notice as you use this tool, the brass jaws will start to dent, mark, etc.. Entire tool is made from 410 Steel and only the tips are Brass. Do not autoclave
