Returns & Refunds Policy

This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work at TattooINC (Pty) Ltd. Read this together with our Original Manufacturer’s Guarantee and Delivery Information.

Before you return anything

  • All returns must be authorised. Complete the Product Return Form to get a claim number.
  • Use original packaging where possible. Include proof of purchase.
  • Unapproved or COD parcels will be refused.

Items not eligible for return

  • Tattoo needles, cartridges, and inks. Opened or unopened.
  • Aftercare products, ointments, and disinfectants.
  • Digital products, gift vouchers, and downloadable content.
  • Consumables that touch skin or fluids.
  • Clearance and “as-is” items marked non-returnable.

Return windows

  • Damaged on delivery or wrong item received: report within 24–48 hours of delivery. Keep all packaging.
  • Unwanted, unopened, resellable goods: request within 7 days of delivery. Subject to inspection.
  • Defects in materials or workmanship: handled under the Original Manufacturer’s Guarantee (six months from invoice unless stated otherwise).

Condition on return

  • Product must be clean and complete with all accessories.
  • Packaging must be intact and barcodes unmarked for unwanted returns.
  • Signs of use, wear, or contamination can lead to rejection.

Inspections and outcomes

  • Damaged/wrong item: on confirmation we arrange a swap or refund.
  • Unwanted goods: if approved, a refund or credit is issued.
  • Defective goods: booked with the original manufacturer for evaluation. The manufacturer’s decision on repair, replacement, or rejection is final.

Refunds

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
  • Allow 3–7 business days after approval for processing.
  • Shipping fees are not refundable unless we made a fulfilment error.

Shipping costs for returns

  • Damaged on delivery or wrong item: TattooINC covers return shipping.
  • Unwanted goods: you cover shipping both ways.
  • Manufacturer assessment: shipping from client to manufacturer is not covered by TattooINC.

Exchanges

  • Allowed for unopened, resellable goods within 7 days.
  • Price differences and shipping are for your account.

Missing or short items

  • Report shortages within 24–48 hours of delivery.
  • Provide photos of the outer carton, inner packaging, and waybill.

How to start a return

  1. Complete the Product Return Form to get a claim number.
  2. Pack the goods safely. Include the claim number in the parcel and on the waybill.
  3. Email info@tattooinc.co.za with photos, the waybill number, and a short description.

Important notes

  • Risk transfers on hand-over to the courier (FOB). Insure high-value items if required.
  • Do not ship hazardous items without prior written approval.
  • Bundles must be returned complete unless the issue relates to a single faulty item under warranty.
